Pink Pearl Foundation and Oaken Events | Organizing Cancer Awareness Campaign and Charity Giveaway

In the sacrificial spirit of Easter, Pink Pearl Foundation would be organizing a Cancer Awareness Campaign and Charity Giveaway on the 6th of April 2012, to commemorate the Easter celebration. The event is focused on touching lives by putting smiles on people’s faces with a mission to reduce the rate of death caused by breast and cervical cancer in Nigeria. This event will take place in Lagos’ “Ghetto City – Ajegunle” at LA primary school complex Ajegunle with special appearance from the Ghetto Soldier – Daddy Showkey and Nigeria’s finest DJ Jimmy Jatt. There will be free screenings during giveaway.

Speaking on the reason for the event, Spokesperson for the foundation, Mr. Onye Ubanatu said; “just as we had the December Giveaways, Easter reminds us of God’s selfless sacrifice of his only son, Jesus Christ, by giving him up on the cross to die for the sins of all mankind and we are all called in our various capacities to show love to mankind just as God did for us”. The Ajegunle Easter giveaway is not limited to Pink Pearl Foundation and Oaken events alone as interested corporate bodies are welcome to also partner so as to reach a wider audience, he added.
