April 15th For Celebrity faceoff 2012 - Playcenter Limited
Playcenter Limited, organizers of FACEOFF, the premium celebrity basketball event, have confirmed April 15th 2012 for the 3rd edition of the stellar event.
FACEOFF is a creative blend of basketball, Music, community development and all round entertainment facilitated by intensive media coverage across Nigeria as a medium to drive key social values amongst young people in society.
It is also a movement to revive the interest of Basketball as a veritable urban sports genre, as well as a platform for role models to relate with fans who would love to see and experience a different aspect of their talent and skills as a source of inspiration to be all they can be.
The 2012 edition of the event will see an All-Star team of A-list celebrities engage the DODAN Warriors; FIBA Africa Champions (2006), in a basketball game.
Stars expected at the event include 2Face Idibia, Tiwa Savage, DJ Caise, DJ Neptune, Dr Sid, Banky W, Wizkid, Skales, MI, Sound Sultan, Ikechukwu, Darey, eLDee, Iyanya, Naeto C, Lynxxx, Ice Prince, Vector May D, Toolz, Eva, D’prince, Wande Coal and Sauce Kid.
Don Jazzy, DJ Jimmy Jatt and Bobby Boulders will be on as coaches of the all- star team while the crowd will enjoy performances by Olamide, MoCheddah, Yung 6ix and May D.
This is the largest gathering of Nigerian superstars in the history of sport.
The theme for this year’s event is; “living with care”- “DUNK WITH CARE”
