Fans Get Low with Capital Femi

As expectations for Kennis Music artiste, Femi Adeyinka’s debut album reaches fever pitch, the smooth-talking crooner is reassuring fans and calming frayed nerves with a slew of singles. This time, Capital Femi as he is also called, is caressing music ears and making fans bob and weave with a new single, Get Low. “Get Low is to show the other side of me; the dance part; the fact that I could do RnB that cuts across and still do songs that can bring down the roofs of clubs without losing the lustre of Capital Femi,” he declares in his luxuriant occidental drawl.

He further says that the song is delivered in a rhythmic sing along beat that is peculiar to him, with a clear purpose to make listeners forget their worries and sway to the rhythm like there would not be another day.

Produced by Trybe Records’ new signing, Sarz, Femi says he is humbled by the response of the song in less than a week of release. “I’m not entirely surprised at the fact that Get Low is now heavily rotated on radio, I’m just surprised that everywhere I turn to now, Get Low is the song on people’s lips.” Femi returned to Nigeria in 2009 from his American base with the intention to build a solid base back home and foray into the international market with his brand of RnB. While it has not been an easy journey finding his feet in Nigeria, Femi has been able to draw a lot of attention to his music and talent with singles like “Mapami” featuring Ego, and Baby I Got it featuring Eedris Abdul Kareem. Last year, he released three new singles; Capital Femi, Playlist, and In Da Name Of Love as he gets set to stake a claim for the crown of Nigeria’s King of RnB.
