The return of Obaro

 By Kemi Lawal

When man-about-town, Obaro Ibru, took a back seat from the social milieu at the outset of his mother, Cecilia Ibru’s travails, not a few persons heaved a sigh of relief and predicted that his zest for intense partying had been nipped in the bud. Others said it was only a matter of time before he returned to his old habits.

True to type he has proved the latter group right with his very recent incursion into the social circles. In recent weeks he has been sighted at some posh bars on the island, though looking a bit sober.
