Multiple award winning artiste and United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace, Sammie Okposo, is expanding his entertainment business empire.

The leading gospel artiste who was recently cleared of racism by an Irish court following a petition by a restaurant owner in Dublin has signed onto his new label, J’odie of the West African Idol fame.

Currently one of Nigeria’s fastest rising female singers, J’odie joins Okposo’s Zamar Entertainment which will oversee the artiste’s career and management till the expiration of the contract.

Affirming the deal, Okposo said, it is indeed necessary for successful artistes to give back to the music industry.

“J’odie is one of the fast rising female acts in the music industry at the moment who appeals to the youth and has so much to offer. This is why we signed her on onto our label,” Okposo said.

J’odie’s new video, Kuchi kuchi; the baby-inspired song , produced by Phat E and directed by Toka McBaror, is currently enjoying massive rotation on different TV stations.

She has worked with talented acts like Timi Dakolo, Kefee, Sunny Nneji and ace producers Cobhams and TY Mix. She has also performed at various high profile events.
