Terry G Investigated By Police For Hit-And-Run Case

Terry G In Fresh Scandal, As Police Investigate Controversial Hit-And-Run Case

It almost seems impossible for pop singer Terry G to stay clear of trouble. It’s the one thing that has plagued his career as an artiste.

Gabriel Amanyi is once again in the news for the wrong reasons – it is being reported that the ‘Akpako master’ is wanted by officers of the Nigerian Police Force over an alleged ‘Hit and run’ case which occurred on Friday, November 23, 2012.

Reports say the pop singer was leaving the premises of a local night club, ‘Club Royale’ where he had jollied with friends and supposedly drove over the leg of a pedestrian – one Mr Moshood Azeez.

Azeez is reported to have been rushed to the General Hospital, Ikeja for Medical attention. The case was reported at the Wemabod Police Station, with a certain Corporal Linus Reuben picking up and investigating.
When NET tried speaking with an officer at the station, our reporter was directed to the office of the Police Public RelationsOfficer Ngozi Conchita Braide who told us ‘The matter is being investigated’.

All efforts to reach Terry G proved abortive as his phones were switched off. Sources say the TGP Entertainment boss has left for the UK on other matters.

His P.A and friend Uche was however available and refuted the story, assuring us that his management will soon release a statement concerning the news.

‘It’s not true, don’t believe all that. Terry will soon release a statement over this nonsense‘, Uche told us over the phone.

A similar story broke in September 2012 – a warrant was placed on David ‘Davido‘ Adeleke for the pop singer’s arrest. Davido allegedly assaulted a Taxi driver. He however denied it.
