M.R.S. Ventures is an entertainment organization, involved in post production, photography, events/artistes' management, tourism and producers of the new TV program 'Naija @ Night'.

Our mission is to organize a world class pageant, for a world class brand, with world class sponsors for the good and wonderful people of Rivers State, with the aim of preserving our cultural heritage and projecting true River beauties and cultural Ambassadors.

The Miss Rivers State is no doubt going to be Rivers State number 2 event brand icon, that will make the world, take Rivers state serious as regards to Tourism.

By this pageant the required attention of tourist' will be stired up; a platform for our hospitality, culture and tourism to be elevated upon.

Who will be crowned Miss Rivers State 2012?


It is the passion of us all to Empower young women using the Miss Rivers State  as a platform. To participate in Miss Rivers State Beauty pageant competition is to be part of history heas M.R.S. Ventures Relaunches Miss Rivers State with a new package and concept. The last Miss Rivers State was held in the year 1986. Miss Uju Tariah emerged winner that year. Since then the state has not experienced the Miss Rivers State beauty pageant.

The winner of the Miss Rivers State beauty pageant competition/Reality show will walk away with;
- Luxury car
- One year Salary package of N2 Million naira
- Wardrobe for a year, from Nigeria designers
- Luxury trips to the UK and France at the prestigous Golden Tulip Hotel in Paris ( courtesy Golden Tulip Hotel)

Registation for the Miss Rivers State Beauty pageant starts; November 28 to December 20, 2011

Auditions: December 19th - December 20th 2011
Venue: Hotel Presidential, Port harcourt
Time: 10am prompt

Study tour to the 23 local Government Areas in the State/Xmas Break.

We welcome all Rivers State ladies between the ages of 18-26 to take part in this opportunity of a lifetime to be the new Miss Rivers State after two decades.

The Grand finale will take place February 5th, 2012 at the Hotel Presidential in Port Harcourt the state capital.

The broadcast of the show starts on the 7th January 2012 with a repeat broadcast every weekend.
