Rita Dominic Wins Best Actress At Kalasha Awards

Star actress, Rita Dominic has won Best Actress at the Kalasha Film and Television Awards in Kenya. She won the award for her role in the Kenyan film, Shattered, which was directed by Gilbert Lukalia. Earlier in the year, she won the AMAA award for Best Actress in a Leading Role – also for her role in Shattered. She bested Patricia Kihoro and Joan Amara, who were also nominated, to clinch the award. Patricia Kihoro was nominated for her role in the movie Miss Nobody, while Joan Amara was nominated for her role in the movie, Miss Pathetic. The 2012 Kalasha Awards took place yesterday (December 8, 2012) in Nairobi. It is organized by the Kenyan Film Commission.
