  1. Today we would very much like to invite you to what is definitely billed to be the African movie premiere event of 2012; the World Premiere and After-Party of LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA, the new film written and directed by Obi Emelonye, award-winning director of last year's mega blockbuster, THE MIRROR BOY.

LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA receives its world premiere at the trendy TROXY CINEMA in East London on the 8th of June, 2012.

Inspired by real events, Last Flight to Abuja is the first Nollywood film about an air disaster that uses an actual aircraft and state of the art CGI effects. Obi Emelonye is building on his habit of breaking new grounds and pushing the African film to international, discerning cinema audiences.

Starring some of Nollywood's finest such as Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Jim Iyke and Uru Eke, Last Flight to Abuja also stars Hakeem Kae-Kazim (who played the enigmatic Colonel Iké Dubaku - Jack Bauer's nightmare in 24) and Anthony Monjaro among others. These stars will be attending the premiere and the after-party. What an opportunity to mingle with the stars.
