Mike Okri resurfaces at the Coliseum

Still wondering at the whereabouts of 90s pop star, Mike Okri? Slow your roll, the Omoge crooner, who relocated abroad many years ago, is back home. And tonight, with the full complement of his rejuvenated band, will headline the monthly Legend Nite Out holding at the Niteshift Coliseum, Opebi, Lagos. The popular monthly live band gig organised by the celebrity hangout and sponsored by Legend Extra Stout, which used to hold every last Wednesday of the month has been repackaged and now moved to the last Friday of every month starting from today.

The proprietor of the club, Ken Calebs-Olumese, popularly known as the Guv’nor says with the revamped Legend Nite, privileged guests and patrons will experience a double treat as the club has reconstituted its in-house band, The Coliseum Shifters. “We recorded a huge success with massive turn out of guests at every Legend Nite held last year. Many fun seekers had unforgettable experience that they savour and obviously want more. So, to ensure that we live up to their expectations in the New Year, we have raised the bar, which is why we decided to move it to the last Friday of the month,” says Olumese.

Olumese says that apart from Okri, a popular Guest DJ from a leading Lagos urban radio station, will be on hand during the disco segment of the event.
